Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental or safety engineering or similar discipline; graduate degree preferred.
• 10+ years of environmental compliance experience including EPA and OSHA; multi-site manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work with regulatory agencies to manage inquiries and actions.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of company environmental strategy and initiatives.
• Lead communication of environmental performance to JBPCO and external stakeholders.
• Develop and lead JBPCO environmental training programs.
• Responsible for environmental compliance policies and procedures, including management system policies.
• Execute assurance/audit programs for environmental compliance.
• Maintain expert knowledge of Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, RCRA, TSCA, SPCC, and JBPCO policies.
• Lead or participate in investigations of environmental incidents and implement improvements.
