Arcadis is looking for a Senior Environmental Engineer in Novi, Michigan, to lead multidisciplinary teams focusing on environmental remediation projects. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in environmental consulting, managing client relationships, and ensuring effective project delivery. Arcadis is seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Engineer to join our team to support and grow our environmental engineering services for clients focusing on design and operational support of environmental remediation systems. The successful candidate will be engaged in both opportunity/client development and project delivery. The position will require a candidate to work collaboratively with a diverse team of specialists and have the capacity to balance varying priorities. Arcadis offers a flexible working environment and follows a hybrid work structure, which allows for a combination of both in‑office and remote work. Periodic travel may be required (10‑15%).
As a Senior Environmental Engineer, the focus of your work will be to lead multidisciplinary teams regarding site assessment, permitting, and environmental documentation service needs related to environmental remediation projects. You will actively lead and coordinate field investigations, sampling activities, pilot programs, and full‑scale remedial efforts. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in fostering effective communication by engaging in face‑to‑face meetings with clients, technical teams, and other stakeholders. You will also provide senior level quality assurance/quality control for client deliverables and coordinate additional project services that may include remediation system design, implementation, operation, and various civil engineering components.
In this role, you will also be involved in supporting and/or managing the growth of new and existing client relationships in conjunction with business development and account leaders. This will include leveraging existing client relationships, supporting client account teams, and leading pursuits and proposal development.

Arcadis offers nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $112,640 – $168,960. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
