The role requires hands-on expertise with salt spray, UV and xenon arc testing, and strict adherence to ASTM/ISO standards, ensuring accurate results and compliant processes in Fargo, ND.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting ASTM, ISO, standards for durability testing.
• Experience leading a small technical team and mentoring technicians.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain environmental testing equipment (B117 salt spray, QUV/UV, xenon arc QSUN, humidity, thermal cycling).
• Independently apply ASTM, ISO, and customer standards to plan and run environmental durability and corrosion tests.
• Serve as technical resource, train Lab Technicians and provide hands-on support on equipment and methods.
• Review setups, executions, and results for accuracy and compliance; flag deviations.
• Act as escalation point for complex testing and coordinate with engineering and service providers.
• Lead a small technical team, mentor staff, and support progression toward independent operation.
