Job summary

State of Indiana seeks a Senior Technical Environmental Data and Systems Specialist within the Compliance and Enforcement Branch of the Office of Water Quality. This role ensures data integrity across complex compliance datasets, supports data migration and development for TEMPO, NetDMR, and ICIS-NPDES, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders on regulatory and technical matters.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience applying knowledge of Federal and State environmental laws, rules, and regulations in a similar role.
• At least 2 years of experience in an administrative, leadership, managerial, or supervisory capacity.
• Excellent communication and writing skills for high-level technical and legal/enforcement issues.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and make sound decisions with complex regulatory and technical information.
• Working knowledge of word processing, database, and spreadsheet software applications.
• Ability to assess multiple information sources to identify patterns, discrepancies, and implications in regulatory and technical contexts.
