Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Environmental Data Management Specialist to deliver complex EQuIS-based data solutions for environmental programs. You will work closely with data managers, scientists, planners, engineers and technologists to implement data management solutions, track data, load data, and deliver results.

The role emphasizes following best practices, building capabilities across all EQuIS phases, and fostering a strong client-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Geology, Engineering, or directly related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in environmental data management, chemistry, analytical data validation, groundwater modeling, data analysis and/or visualization.
• Experience with environmental software implementations in a consulting/industrial environment.
• Experience with designing or automating digital workflows ranging from project planning, mobile data collection and data engineering, to data warehousing, database management, data analysis, and data visualization.

• Contribute to project data management including data tracking, data loading, and data delivery.

• Develop and implement project plans, work assignments, and ensure product quality, on-schedule, on-budget, and safely.

Here’s what you'll need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Geology, Engineering, or directly related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in environmental data management, chemistry, analytical data validation, groundwater modeling, data analysis and/or visualization.
  • With 5 + years data management experience, using EQuIS software with knowledge of EQuIS modules including Professional, EDP, SPM, Collect, and Enterprise.
• Experience with environmental software implementations in a consulting/industrial environment.
• Experience with designing or automating digital workflows ranging from project planning, mobile data collection and data engineering, to data warehousing, database management, data analysis, and data visualization.

The base salary range for this position is $112,000.00 to $165,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
