We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Environmental Consultant to join our Charlotte, North Carolina office. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently on project tasks, managing a small portfolio of clients, and quickly developing familiarity with North Carolina and South Carolina regulatory requirements. CE:Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental/Civil Engineering, or a related Environmental Science field; and 5-7 years of directly relevant experience in air quality permitting and compliance consulting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated working knowledge of permit applicability determinations, emission inventories, air dispersion modeling (e.g., AERMOD), and federal and state permitting requirements is required. Familiarity with North Carolina and/or South Carolina air quality programs is strongly preferred. The ability to quickly learn local market conditions and state-specific regulatory requirements is essential for success in this role.
