Thomas & Hutton, a growing civil engineering firm, seeks a motivated Construction Administrator for the Savannah, GA area. This full-time role supports the Infrastructure Construction team, coordinating documentation, submittals, and site activities to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of environmental construction administration/management experience.
• Proficiency in document management software.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field or equivalent experience considered.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret environmental construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of environmental construction safety standards and regulations.
• Strong problem solving and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and change orders.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and other project documents.
• Maintain accurate records of project correspondence, meetings, and approvals.
• Assist in preparing project progress reports and financial documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure compliance with requirements and standards.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality.
• Serve as liaison between project team, contractors, clients, and stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve construction-related issues promptly.
• Review and approve contractor work plans and schedules.
• Document on-site observations and corrective actions.
• Facilitate communication among project stakeholders.
• Attend meetings and provide construction updates.
