Job summary

Bachoco Group in Fort Smith, AR, seeks an Environmental Compliance Manager to lead the company-wide environmental program, regulatory strategy, and reporting. You will partner with operations to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local requirements and serve as the liaison with regulators.

Responsibilities include managing permit compliance, Tier II and TRI reporting, and training staff across facilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical field.
5+ years of environmental compliance experience in poultry, food processing, manufacturing, agriculture, or a similarly regulated industry.
Knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting, and compliance programs, including air, wastewater, stormwater, EPCRA Tier II, and TRI reporting.

Responsibilities

Provide overall leadership and oversight of the Company's environmental compliance programs across all operations.
Serve as the Company's subject matter expert for environmental compliance, wastewater compliance, and permitting.
Arrange for and ensure the accurate collection, compilation, and submission of all environmental regulatory reports, including Tier II, TRI, DMRs, and other required submissions.
Monitor and support process owners to ensure environmental compliance procedures are implemented, maintained, and effective.
Provide technical guidance on wastewater compliance, permit requirements, sampling programs, reporting obligations, corrective actions, and regulatory interpretations.
