The role involves diverse responsibilities from landfill design to groundwater monitoring and financial feasibility studies. You will work on a range of projects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compliant, cost-effective engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• BS in environmental, civil, or related engineering field.
• 5-7 years of engineering experience in solid waste management, civil engineering, environmental consulting, or related fields.
• EIT required; PE license (or ability to obtain) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and permit solid waste management facilities, including landfills, compost facilities and recycling centers.
• Conduct environmental assessments, feasibility studies, and site characterization studies.
• Perform stormwater design and erosion control planning.
• Support groundwater monitoring and statistical analysis.
• Assist with financial planning and cost analysis for waste management programs.
• Prepare technical reports, permit applications, and environmental compliance documents.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop sustainable and cost-effective solutions.
