Job summary

Bristol Infrastructure Design Services, LLC is seeking a Senior Environmental Design Specialist to support Navy facilities with abatement and remediation projects. The role involves preparing environmental site characterization, mitigation documents, and cost estimates, plus overseeing prescriptions and compliance with hazmat criteria.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental design for Navy facilities or similar government projects.
• Ability to prescribe, review and uphold compliance with remediation and abatement of HazMat (asbestos, lead, radon, mold, PCBs).
• Proficient with AutoCAD and design software and cost estimating tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare final detailed drawings, construction plans, cost analyses and project specs.
• Evaluate environmental impacts of demolition or renovations on Navy facilities.
• Define environmental testing requirements and hazardous materials programs for site development.
• Coordinate drawings with other teams to meet Navy criteria and codes.
• Review project documents for completeness and compliance with Navy standards.
