Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in San Diego seeks a Senior Software Architect to lead architectural strategies, enterprise design, and API-driven solutions that align with business goals. You will guide mobile and web architecture, scalable systems, and secure development practices.

You will mentor teams, drive SOA and cloud adoption, evaluate new technologies, and ensure standards across applications and data models. A strong background in CI/CD and complex database design is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
10+ years of software development experience.
5 years of software development with a Master's degree.
Experience with mobile architecture and Progressive Web Apps.
Experience with enterprise app design patterns, CI/CD, and best practices.
Experience with complex database design and API collaborations.
Experience designing and developing new APIs in a services-oriented architecture.

Responsibilities

Design Solution Architecture for enterprise applications and roadmaps.
Lead evaluation of new technologies and establish strategic roadmaps.
Guide architecture for mobile/web applications and APIs for scalability and security.
Mentor staff, set coding standards, and ensure alignment with business needs.
Drive SOA adoption and cloud integration across Sharp systems.
