Job summary

California State University, Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator (System Administrator III) in ITS/IT Infrastructure Services. You will analyze, modify, maintain, develop, and install complex computer systems and lead enterprise-scale projects.

You will ensure availability, security, and reliability of systems, work with Windows and Linux environments, VMware hypervisors, Oracle databases, and communicate with campus units to translate needs into solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Experience with VMware Hypervisors installation, provisioning, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of Windows Server and Red Hat Linux and related distributions.
• Understanding of network concepts, security procedures, and enterprise IT environments.
• Ability to develop disaster recovery plans and data security standards.
