Job summary

NuAxis, a federal IT contractor, seeks a System Administrator VI to act as an Enterprise Systems SME. The role supports architecture, resilience, operation, and long-term strategy of data center environments, delivering secure, scalable IT operations with Tier II/III expertise.

The candidate will lead complex projects, patching, performance tuning, and upgrades, while mentoring teams and ensuring compliance with enterprise standards and security requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise system administration experience.
• Experience with server and data center environments.
• Federal enterprise IT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as Enterprise Systems SME for architecture and long-term strategy.
• Lead and support Tier II/III incidents and projects.
• Manage patching, tuning, and optimization of enterprise systems.
• Lead disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution.
• Ensure compliance with security and architecture standards.
• Interface with CORs and OIT leadership on IT initiatives.
