Shield AI seeks a senior Strategy leader to shape the next generation of defense technology. You will guide multi-year planning, investment decisions, and cross-functional execution with KPIs and milestones.

You’ll build models, evaluate TAM and returns, lead acquisitions integration, and communicate with senior leaders. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance required.

Qualifications

• 12+ years with a Bachelor's, 8+ with a Masters, 5+ with a PhD.
• 4+ years in strategy consulting or high-rigor corporate strategy roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience leading cross-functional transformations in tech-friendly environments.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems and drive insight.
• Financial modeling and unit economics, forecasting, scenario analysis.
• Experience in aerospace/defense/AI or regulated industries preferred.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders; U.S. citizenship for clearance.

Responsibilities

• Shape the strategy behind next-gen defense technology and guide investment decisions.
• Develop enterprise strategy, evaluate portfolio tradeoffs, and model market scenarios.
• Lead cross-functional execution plans with defined KPIs and milestones.
• Oversee acquisitions integration and inorganic growth initiatives.
• Monitor progress through formal operating cadences (monthly/quarterly).
