Job summary

Samsung Semiconductor seeks an experienced test engineer to drive enterprise SSD qualification programs within customer systems. You will coordinate with team leads, execute test plans, triage failures, and verify fixes with development teams across local and remote sites.

You will bring 5+ years in system-level testing of enterprise storage, strong scripting skills, and knowledge of storage protocols. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and competitive base pay.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science or related technical field; 5+ years in system-level testing or enterprise server/storage development
Experience with NVMe/PCIe, SAS, SATA, or Fibre Channel
Proficiency with server OS and system debugging tools
Knowledge of enterprise storage/server tech and test tools
Scripting in Perl, Shell, or Python

Responsibilities

Execute enterprise SSD qualifications in customer systems
Coordinate with test engineers and customers; report status and manage expectations
Triage failures; design experiments; verify fixes with development teams
Provide feedback to improve functional test coverage; triage customer field issues
Identify automation opportunities and assist Automation team
