Job summary

Huntington National Bank seeks a Sr. Principal Enterprise Solution Architect to design strategic solutions for its portfolio of corporate applications. You will partner with experience owners and product teams to craft architecture enabling highly integrated, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

You will work within a cross-functional scrum team, aligning with product workstreams to develop digital solutions and maintain product roadmaps in line with business and technology strategy.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT experience, preferably as an architect.
• 5+ years as a Solution Architect across multiple domains (business, technology, data, application, infrastructure).
• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience as a solution architect or related work.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate adherence to architecture standards and patterns.
• Oversee architecture at a program level initiative.
• Define non-functional requirements to ensure scalability, reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Partner with the business to identify operational and financial efficiencies.
• Analyze high-level functional requirements defined by the business.
• Provide direction and clarity for Application Architects.
• Design system integration patterns.
• Provide oversight, governance, and support for federated architecture.
• Ensure Application Architects are in alignment with solutions.
• Identify technical constraints.
• Identify technical debt and recommend paths to resolution.
• Influence technology and vendor decisions.
• Design and evaluate proofs of concept and prototypes.
• Periodic analysis and refresh of architecture standards and patterns.
• Provide support for target state architecture designs.
• Consult for technology roadmaps.
