Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant in Enterprise Security Architecture to help clients assess existing security architectures and design future-state security frameworks across network, cloud, data, and identity domains.

You will lead architecture engagements, develop roadmaps aligned with SABSA, TOGAF, and NIST, and deliver executive presentations while mentoring junior staff in EY's Cyber practice. This role requires travel 25-50% and a strong foundation in security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, and ~3–5 years of relevant experience; or a graduate degree and ~2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in enterprise security architecture assessments and future-state design.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001/27002, CIS Controls, SABSA).
• Experience with network security, cloud security across AWS/Azure/GCP, IAM, data protection, and secure SDLC/DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

• Deliver security architecture assessments, design engagements, and transformation initiatives for clients.
• Identify gaps and risks across network, cloud, application, data, and identity domains; provide actionable recommendations.
• Design and document future-state security architectures, reference models, and security patterns aligned to SABSA, TOGAF, and NIST.
• Prepare client deliverables and executive-level presentations; mentor junior team members; contribute to practice-building.
