Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services is seeking a Senior Solution Architect – Enterprise Network & Security to design, support, and optimize our global network and security infrastructure, bridging on‑premises and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will lead P2/P3 incident response, implement Zero Trust and SD‑WAN, and mentor network teams while collaborating with global IT to ensure availability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of enterprise networking and security experience with 3 years in solution architecture.
• Strong experience supporting large enterprise or global manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable enterprise network architectures for global offices, data centers, and Azure cloud environments.
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of P2/P3 network incidents, including RCA and preventive actions.
• Architect and support LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD‑WAN, VPN, Internet, and cloud connectivity solutions.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Cisco routing, switching, wireless, Cisco ISE, FortiGate firewalls, Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA), and Azure networking.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams to deliver reliable enterprise services.
• Create High‑Level Designs (HLD), Low‑Level Designs (LLD), implementation plans, SOPs, and technical documentation.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to network engineers and operations teams.
• Ensure network performance, security, availability, and compliance with enterprise standards.
