Job summary

RedStream Technology is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and operate a large-scale enterprise network spanning 1,800–2,000+ sites. You will own day-to-day reliability as a Tier 3 escalation point and lead incident response.

You will modernize SD-WAN, Wi‑Fi, security edge, and cloud connectivity, working with carriers, Cisco Meraki, and third-party field services. Strong documentation, change control, and mentorship are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of network engineering experience in large, distributed environments.
• Strong expertise in firewall technologies (Cisco Firepower/FTD preferred).
• Experience with Azure networking connectivity including ExpressRoute and Megaport interconnects.
• Strong understanding of resilient routing design (BGP/OSPF) and traffic-path control.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues using packet captures and log correlation.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise firewall/security platforms (Cisco Firepower/FTD).
• Design and operate hybrid cloud connectivity (Azure ExpressRoute; Megaport).
• Engineer and maintain resilient routing with OSPF/BGP and route control.
• Administer and support Cisco Meraki environments at scale.
• Design, support, and optimize SD-WAN connectivity and hub/spoke architectures.
• Own WAN circuit lifecycle and carrier/vendor coordination; outage escalation and restoration.
• Implement and maintain network segmentation and security controls.
• Design and troubleshoot wireless solutions for indoor/outdoor deployments.
• Lead complex incident troubleshooting with packet captures and root-cause analysis.
• Develop network automation using Python and/or PowerShell; leverage APIs.
• Execute production changes with formal change management; documentation and runbooks.
