Job summary

Serco Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support a multi-site enterprise network. You will handle Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, GlobalProtect, and Azure networking across on-premises and cloud environments, with a focus on security and compliance, including CMMC.

You will contribute to architecture, documentation, and incident response, with rotating 24/7 on-call coverage and potential 10% travel. A Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 7 years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Experience with Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, GlobalProtect, and Azure networking.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure network architectures across multiple sites and cloud environments.
• Lead network strategy across LAN/WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, and cloud connectivity (Azure).
• Architect and optimize Meraki and Cisco-based network infrastructures.
• Design and support Palo Alto firewalls and GlobalProtect remote access solutions.
• Provide Tier 3 support and troubleshooting for complex network issues.
• Support after-hours maintenance and incident response as needed.
• Proactively monitor and improve network reliability, performance, and availability.
• Lead and contribute to incident response, root cause analysis, and service restoration efforts.
• Design and support Azure networking components across Commercial and GCC High environments.
