Job summary

Metromont LLC is seeking a Senior Network Administrator to design, implement, secure, and support our enterprise network across multiple manufacturing and corporate locations in Greenville, SC. You will be the networking SME for Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, SD-WAN, VoIP, cloud networking, and cybersecurity.

You will lead design and deployment of LAN/WAN, manage firewalls and security policies, and mentor IT staff while supporting on-call rotations and off-hours work as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or network engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of enterprise network administration/engineering experience.
• Extensive hands-on Cisco routing experience.
• Strong Meraki switches and wireless experience.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and security platforms.
• Experience deploying SD-WAN.
• Experience supporting enterprise VoIP and UC.
• Experience designing Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 networking.
• Experience implementing cybersecurity controls and Zero Trust concepts.
• CCNP Enterprise or Palo Alto certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, cloud, and hybrid network connectivity across multiple locations.
• Administer Cisco routers and routing technologies (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Meraki switching and wireless platforms, VLANs, and network segmentation.
• Manage Palo Alto firewalls, policies, NAT, VPNs, threat prevention, and secure remote access.
• Design, deploy SD-WAN between offices, sites, and cloud services.
• Monitor network availability, performance, and security incidents; ensure site resiliency.
• Design and support Azure and Microsoft 365 networking including hybrid connectivity and VPNs.
• Administer enterprise VoIP and UC systems; ensure QoS and redundancy.
• Lead network projects, vendor engagements, upgrades, and new-site implementations.
• Provide technical mentorship and communicate complex issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in on-call support and off-hours maintenance as required.
