Job summary

Empower in the United States is seeking an Architect to lead enterprise integration and technology strategy. You will partner with business and IT teams to align solutions with Empower's vision, focusing on scalable, secure, cloud-native designs.

In this role you will drive architecture standards, evaluate new applications, and coach engineers across full‑stack development. Strong communication, leadership and cost-conscious decision making are essential to deliver reliable, high‑performance

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in architecting Enterprise Solutions, Data Integration, and emerging technologies.
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns, API-led integration, event-driven architecture, messaging, file/batch exchange, streaming, and data integration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex designs to executives, engineers, stakeholders, clients, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the business-aligned IT strategy and vision with senior architects.
• Develop and maintain reference architectures and reusable patterns.
• Design integration architectures for APIs, events, messaging, batch/file exchange, streaming, ETL/ELT, SaaS and partner integrations.
• Lead secure, scalable, reusable integration services to enable enterprise reuse.
• Evaluate new applications, create business cases, and influence direction with key constituencies.
• Provide coaching on development practices and architecture standards.
• Collaborate across IT Infrastructure, PMO, Business, and vendors on architecture decisions.
