Job summary

Symmetrio is seeking a Senior Implementation Project Manager to lead enterprise healthcare software deployments across hospitals and health systems. You will guide the full lifecycle from initiation through go-live, coordinating clinical, technical, and executive stakeholders in regulated healthcare environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing enterprise software implementations or complex technical projects.
• Led end-to-end healthcare software deployments across hospitals or health systems.
• Experience coordinating multi-site deployments with cross-functional teams.
• Strong PM skills: scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, change management, issues.
• Experience with software configuration, testing, integrations, deployment and go-live.
• Familiar with HL7, FHIR, APIs in healthcare interoperability.
• Understanding of HIPAA, data privacy and security requirements.
• Excellent communication, leadership and executive-facing storytelling.
• Able to manage competing priorities and escalations with executives.
• Willingness to travel domestically to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end enterprise healthcare software implementations through go-live and stabilization.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, resources, and deliverables.
• Oversee scope, risks, issues, dependencies, change requests and escalations.
• Coordinate clinical, technical, engineering, and customer teams across workstreams.
• Oversee configuration, workflow validation, testing, and deployment readiness.
• Coordinate interoperability and data exchange requirements.
• Plan cutovers, go-live, and post-launch stabilization activities.
• Maintain executive communications and project status reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve methodologies and documentation, including AI-enabled tools.
• Mentor other project managers and ensure smooth transitions to support.
