Job summary

InterImage, Inc. is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead modernization of enterprise architecture, MBSE, and digital engineering for DoD weapon system programs.

You will establish the technical vision and align engineering, infrastructure, and applications across classified and unclassified networks. The role requires active security clearance and deep expertise in EA, SE, and digital engineering frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, systems engineering, or digital engineering within DoD or IC environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise architecture initiatives supporting complex weapon systems or mission-critical environments.
• Experience implementing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies.
• Strong understanding of Digital Engineering strategies and model lifecycle management.
• Experience designing enterprise architecture across both classified and unclassified environments.
• Experience with enterprise configuration management principles and governance.
• Knowledge of enterprise networking, virtualization technologies, and infrastructure architecture.
• Experience evaluating network designs for scalability, interoperability, and architectural compliance.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint, .NET applications, and enterprise application lifecycle management.
• Experience integrating engineering toolchains with software development environments.
• Strong understanding of systems integration, data architecture, APIs, and enterprise data flows.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and program leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the adoption, implementation, and governance of MBSE methodologies and Digital Engineering across enterprise programs.
• Define and maintain enterprise architecture standards for DoD weapon system development.
• Develop modernization roadmaps aligning tools, apps, infrastructure, and missions.
• Serve as technical authority for enterprise architecture across classified/unclassified environments.
• Design and oversee enterprise-wide configuration management strategies for digital engineering.
• Ensure architectural consistency across engineering, infrastructure, software development, cybersecurity, and operations.
• Evaluate network architecture proposals for security, standards and interoperability.
• Participate in Network Load Balancing assessments, virtual infrastructure planning, and modernization efforts.
• Provide senior-level technical leadership and back up Network Lead during redesigns or surge events.
• Collaborate with software teams to integrate MBSE toolchains into development lifecycles.
• Ensure reliable integration between MBSE repositories and enterprise apps (GOTS/SharePoint MOTS).
• Troubleshoot model-to-application data pipelines and validate tool configurations.
• Support digital engineering tool maintenance during transitions or modernization efforts.
• Develop enterprise architecture documentation, standards, interfaces, and governance processes.
• Provide technical guidance to senior leadership on modernization and technology investments.
