Job summary

Quantum Technologies LLC seeks an experienced Senior Technical Architect to lead the design, modernization, security, and integration of large-scale enterprise systems. The role focuses on defining technical architecture, guiding implementation teams, and ensuring security and compliance across highly available environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in technical architecture or senior leadership.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, cloud infrastructure, APIs, microservices, and systems integration.
• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, IAM, and Zero Trust.
• Knowledge of networking, Linux/Windows environments, relational databases, and hybrid cloud.
• Experience with high-availability systems, disaster recovery, and legacy modernization.
• Experience managing technical requirements, vendors, and system integrators.
• Ability to pass criminal background checks and CJIS fingerprint screening.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise and solution architecture for complex, integrated systems.
• Design and implement scalable cloud and hybrid architectures using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Lead API integrations, microservices, event-driven architecture, and enterprise application modernization.
• Establish security architecture incorporating Zero Trust, IAM, encryption, and network security.
• Ensure alignment with NIST, PCI DSS, CJIS, and other applicable security standards.
• Design high-availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Lead legacy system modernization, including mainframe migration initiatives.
• Develop architecture diagrams, technical standards, and design documentation.
• Oversee technical vendors, system integrators, architecture reviews, and implementation activities.
