Job summary

Expression in Washington DC is seeking a Lead Enterprise Architect to support DHS/CISA enterprise engineering and operations. The role focuses on network and cloud design, advising on IT strategy, and evaluating emerging technologies for the government mission.

Key responsibilities include leading architecture across SDN/SD-WAN, IAM, mobility, cloud hosting, and more, and developing enterprise strategy and design documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or information systems.
• 5 years minimum in network architecture; 15 years with no bachelor's.
• Subject matter expertise in network and cloud architecture and design.
• Experience developing business cases/ROI and applying Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Lead application and network architecture and design across CISA enterprise IT (SDN/SD-WAN, IAM, mobility, collaboration, cloud hosting, and communications).
• Develop and maintain the enterprise technology strategy, target architecture, network taxonomy, and architecture standards.
• Develop business cases and ROI for new technologies and solutions.
• Advise on IT system strategy and produce designs and SDDs.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies and apply Agile/Scrum on projects.
