Job summary
Scorpion Therapeutics seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect to align Animal Health value streams with enterprise capabilities, standards, and investments, guiding AI acceleration and data integration initiatives across R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial teams. The role requires 15+ years in tech strategy/EA with strong regulatory awareness and executive communication.

Qualifications
- Deep Animal Health end-to-end value-stream knowledge (pharma discovery/clinical development through manufacturing, supply chain, sales)
- Regulations awareness (USDA, FDA CVM, EPA, GxP) and data/AI expectations
- Strong AI/ML and generative AI acumen; bridge business, data science, and technology teams
- Strategic/enterprise thinking; influence without authority in matrixed orgs; executive communication
- Fluency in Cloud/SaaS, IoT, data platforms and integration patterns; vendor risk/TCO assessment
- Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years in tech strategy/EA/digital transformation; exposure to Animal Health/Ag/Life Sciences/pharma ops
Responsibilities
- Serve as trusted enterprise technology advisor for Animal Health leadership; connect divisional priorities to enterprise capabilities, platforms, standards, investments, and future technology direction.
- Advise on enterprise opportunities, dependencies, risks, tradeoffs, and cross-divisional implications (especially Human Health synergies).
- Engage early across the Animal Health value stream (R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, commercial) to connect needs to enterprise capabilities and resolve enterprise barriers.
- Drive AI acceleration and evaluate AI/ML, generative AI, IoT, connected devices, Cloud/SaaS, advanced analytics, and data integration; translate trends into actionable enterprise strategies.
- Own quality/traceability of enterprise architecture decisions; convert decisions into standards, patterns, reference architectures, responsible AI guardrails, and connected-product patterns.
- Optimize through reuse/standardization/simplification; identify platform leverage and reduce duplication, risk, and technical debt.
- Lead Enterprise Architecture engagement for Animal Health; set priorities/accountability and coach talent.
