Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal Deutschland GmbH is seeking an Enterprise AI Solutions Architect to own the end-to-end architecture of enterprise AI and technology solutions across frontend applications, backend services, data platforms, AI services, and Azure infrastructure.

The role combines substantial hands-on work (approximately 50%) with strategic leadership, guiding internal and offshore teams to production-ready deployments while aligning with product and business needs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering or architecture experience.
• Hands-on architect spending ~50% of time designing and coding.
• Deep experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Generative AI/Agentic AI architectures.
• Hands-on AI-powered applications using LLMs, vector DBs and APIs.
• Proven ability to design distributed, scalable enterprise solutions.
• Strong security, reliability, and governance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture of enterprise AI solutions (frontend, backend, data, AI services, APIs).
• Translate business needs into scalable, secure architectures and roadmaps.
• Lead hands-on development with internal and offshore teams; review and improve code.
