Job summary

Hitachi Digital Services, LLC is seeking a Senior Enterprise AI & Agent Architect to lead strategy, architecture, governance, and adoption of enterprise AI, Gen AI, and Agentic AI solutions.

You will define scalable AI platforms, intelligent agent ecosystems, and governance frameworks enabling secure, trusted AI transformation across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in enterprise architecture, software or cloud platforms.
• 7+ years delivering AI/ML, Generative AI, or Agentic AI solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Azure, AWS, GCP and AI governance.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise AI strategy, standards, and roadmaps.
• Architect and govern AI platforms across major cloud providers.
• Design Agentic AI solutions including autonomous agents and workflows.
• Drive interoperability with MCP, OpenAPI, and integration patterns.
• Build knowledge architectures using graphs, ontologies, metadata.
• Establish AI and Agent governance, security, risk, and policy.
• Implement observability with OpenTelemetry and cloud-native tools.
• Collaborate with business, security, data, and engineering leaders.
• Mentor teams and promote LLMOps, MLOps, CI/CD.
• Evaluate new AI tech and industry standards.

Overview

The Senior Enterprise AI & Agent Architect will lead the strategy, architecture, governance, and adoption of enterprise AI, Generative AI, and Agentic AI solutions. This role is responsible for defining scalable AI platforms, intelligent agent ecosystems, enterprise knowledge architectures, and governance frameworks that enable secure, trusted, and business-aligned AI transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Define enterprise AI strategy, architecture standards, reference architectures, and roadmaps.
• Architect and govern AI platforms leveraging Microsoft AI Foundry, Amazon Bedrock, and Google Vertex AI.
• Design and implement Agentic AI solutions, including autonomous agents, multi-agent systems, orchestration, memory frameworks, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Drive adoption of interoperability standards such as MCP, A2A, OpenAPI, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Build enterprise knowledge architectures using Knowledge Graphs, Ontologies, Semantic Layers, Metadata Management, and Agentic Retrieval.
• Architect RAG solutions utilizing vector databases, graph databases, hybrid search, and enterprise knowledge platforms.
• Establish AI Governance and Agent Governance frameworks covering security, compliance, risk management, responsible AI, and policy enforcement.
• Implement AI observability, tracing, monitoring, evaluation, and performance measurement using OpenTelemetry and cloud-native tools.
• Partner with business, product, security, data, and engineering leaders to deliver strategic AI initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, architecture governance, and best practices for LLMOps, MLOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native operations.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, agent frameworks, and industry standards to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, software engineering, or cloud platforms.
• 7+ years of experience designing and delivering AI/ML, Generative AI, or Agentic AI solutions.
• Deep expertise with Microsoft AI Foundry, Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, LLMs, RAG, Knowledge Graphs, and AI governance.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), enterprise integration, security, and scalable distributed systems.
• Proven leadership experience influencing executive stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams.

Preferred

• Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
• Cloud and AI certifications from Microsoft, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience leading enterprise AI transformation programs in large global organizations.
