Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to drive enterprise-wide improvements and lead complex projects. You will mentor Black Belts and coordinate with cross-functional partners to deliver measurable productivity gains using Lean, Kaizen and Six Sigma methodologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or related field.
Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
5–10 years of overall work experience.
Proficiency in Lean/Six Sigma principles and delivery methodologies.
Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to work autonomously in remote locations.
Strong data analysis and decision-making skills.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Mini-Tab; MS Access preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead higher complexity projects requiring larger degree of functional or business unit expertise.
Facilitate business reviews, team meetings, Kaizen events; maintain project documents and financial modeling.
Coordinate interdependent projects to ensure forecasted benefits are achieved and sustained.
Lead training for Project Leads and Green Belts across the organization; coach at project lead level.
Present business solutions to senior management and stakeholders.
