Based at Illumio's Sunnyvale, CA HQ, you will partner with product, architecture and business teams to shape the future of Zero Trust and secure distributed environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years' experience building cloud-based high-performance systems.
• 7+ years' experience leading and managing high-performance teams.
• Led a team of 9+ engineers/managers with end-to-end delivery responsibility.
• Excellent stakeholder and program management.
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud services (Java, Spring Boot, Golang, Python).
• Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP; REST APIs and data platforms knowledge.
• CI/CD with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins; DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-performing teams of 9+ engineers and own end-to-end delivery.
• Drive design, development, implementation and documentation of engineering solutions.
• Establish engineering practices and metrics; ensure governance and quality.
• Collaborate with product management and business to set priorities.
• Coordinate with architects and cross-functional teams on roadmaps.
• Participate in hiring and build high-performing agile teams.
• Mentor and coach team members for growth.
