Invitation Homes is recruiting a Sr. Engineering Manager to lead a software development organization across multiple teams. You will translate strategy into actionable roadmaps, align engineers with product and delivery partners, and drive high-quality, scalable solutions that enhance resident and associate experiences.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and staying ahead of tech trends, with a focus on architecture, APIs, and platforms used across our homes and services.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional development experience, and 3+ years of recent experience managing or leading an engineering team
• Experience working in agile development environment
• Deep understanding of software and development engineering principles and concepts
• Deep technical skills in one or more: JavaScript development, database technologies, AWS serverless, CI/CD, Salesforce

Responsibilities

• Craft a technical roadmap aligned with business strategies
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Delivery to prepare projects
• Guide architecture, APIs, and interfaces to third-party systems
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture
• Coach and develop engineering teams
• Prioritize improvements based on impact
• Stay current with technology trends and encourage innovation
