Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in Software Engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Additionally, 2+ years of experience leading technologists to solve complex items.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural oversight for Java-based platforms focusing on performance and operability.
• Guide API and microservices design; evolve event-driven patterns for scale and resilience.
• Lead modernization across legacy, cloud, and hybrid environments with secure design and compliance.
• Mentor entry- to mid-level engineers; grow talent and raise engineering standards.
• Own delivery outcomes across multiple squads, including planning and release readiness.
• Align product, engineering, operations, and risk on priorities and outcomes.
• Identify and mitigate delivery risks; accelerate with urgency when needed.
• Leverage Gen AI to guide strategies in operational workflows.
• Lead incident response and root-cause analysis; drive preventive actions for stability.
• Guide UX design input for customer-facing apps and transitions to next-gen touching customer interactions.
• Provide input to leadership on budget, approach, and technical trade-offs to improve efficiency.
