Job summary

ClickUp is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead and grow the IAM Platform team, overseeing authentication, authorization, and access control across the product. The role emphasizes enterprise readiness, security-by-design, and collaboration with product, security, and customers.

You will build and scale a high-performing team, drive AI-native workflows, and partner with stakeholders to deliver a robust enterprise-grade access management solution.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building production SaaS.
• 3+ years managing engineering teams (including senior engineers).
• Identity and access management experience required with authentication/authorization systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and develop the IAM Platform engineering team, including hiring, mentorship, and career growth.
• Deliver enterprise-grade access management platform with authorization engine, RBAC, authentication, SCIM, audit logs, and APIs.
• Define roadmap with product, security, and engineering leadership for enterprise-grade capabilities.
• Run an AI-native team; reduce meetings, use AI flows, and scale with agents.
• Partner with enterprise customers, GTM, and security on access-control requirements.
• Maintain on-call reliability, migrations, and security boundaries.
• Uphold high engineering standards: code review, testing, performance, security-by-design.
• Collaborate across backend, frontend, platform, product, design, and infosec.
