Job summary

Venmo is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to shape the future of Commerce. You will lead an engineering team responsible for Venmo Commerce products used by millions of customers and merchants, partnering with Product, Design, Analytics to define what we build.

You'll own the technical direction, balance speed and reliability, hire and coach the team, and collaborate across Venmo and PayPal to solve cross-product challenges while maintaining a strong customer focus.

Qualifications

Significant experience leading software teams and delivering complex products at scale.
Proven track record of building and retaining strong engineering teams.
Ability to navigate ambiguous problems and drive technical strategy.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop an engineering team responsible for Venmo Commerce products at scale.
Partner with Product, Design, Analytics to shape roadmaps and turn ideas into products.
Own the technical direction and balance speed, simplicity, reliability, and scale.
