Job summary

PL Developments LLC is seeking an Engineering & Maintenance Manager to lead all engineering projects and oversee facilities at the Lynwood, CA site. You will manage production equipment, packaging optimization, and utility projects while driving continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive manufacturing engineering experience in a regulated environment, and ability to manage a 25–35 person maintenance team.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering and maintenance leadership.
• Experience with pharmaceutical or food manufacturing equipment, especially liquids and consumer healthcare products.
• Familiarity with cGMPs, OSHA, FDA and EPA standards.
• Experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage capital projects for production equipment and plant utility systems.
• Perform design and cost analyses of production equipment.
• Produce and revise design drawings, P&IDs, line sizing, instrumentation and control philosophies.
• Support design, construction and qualification of the manufacturing facility and equipment.
• Coordinate with Operations, Quality and Validation to select vendors and review submittals.
