Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of engineering experience with a HS diploma, or 5 years with a science degree.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MSHA/OSHA regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Review, investigate and develop recommendations for assigned engineering projects.
• Manage projects and act as SME on site planning/construction, expansion or modifications.
• Provide guidance on processes and regulations to site management.
• Contribute to site strategic planning and budgeting for engineering areas.
• Develop and evaluate Appropriation Requests for capital funding.
• May evaluate contracts with vendors for services and equipment.
• Represent site on Company steering committees or task forces.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
