Job summary

Intel Corporation seeks a Senior Engineering Lab Manager to lead strategy, operations, and development of a high‑visibility engineering lab supporting complex hardware and platform activities. You will manage a technical team, optimize resources, and partner across engineering groups to enable efficient development, testing, and execution.

You will establish priorities, promote safety, and drive continuous improvements in lab processes and infrastructure to meet current and future engineering

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computing Engineering, IT or related field with 9 years of experience.
  • Master's degree in the same field with 6 years of experience; or PhD with 4 years of experience.
  • Experience managing engineering labs or similar environments, including resource allocation and team leadership.
  • Experience with lab tools, equipment, and processes relevant to engineering workflows.

Job Details: Job Description: The Role and Impact We are seeking a Senior Engineering Lab Manager to lead the strategy, operations, and development of an engineering lab supporting complex hardware and platform engineering activities. In this highly visible leadership role, you will lead a technical team, optimize lab capabilities and resources, and partner across engineering organizations to enable efficient development, testing, validation, and execution. You will establish operational priorities, promote a strong safety culture, and drive continuous improvements in lab processes, infrastructure, equipment, and engineering workflows. Your leadership will help ensure the lab is positioned to meet current engineering needs while anticipating future technology, capacity, and infrastructure requirements.

About the Team You will join an engineering organization focused on enabling the development, integration, and validation of advanced hardware and platform technologies. Our engineering labs provide the infrastructure, equipment, and technical environments that teams rely on to develop, test, debug, and validate complex systems. As the leader of this lab organization, you will help shape the capabilities and operating environment that enable engineers to move quickly from development through validation while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, reliability, and execution.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of Electrical/Computing Engineering, Information Technology or related field and a 9 years of professional experience.
  • Or a Master's degree in the same field with 6 years of experience OR a PhD in the same field with 4 years of experience.
  • Experience managing engineering labs or similar environments, including resource allocation and team leadership.
  • Experience with lab tools, equipment, and processes relevant to engineering workflows.
  • Manage projects, monitor progress, and ensure the delivery of high-quality results.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience in engineering systems, testing methodologies, or related domains.
