Job summary

KoBold Metals is leading a senior Engineering leadership role for a major copper mining complex in Zambia. This position serves as the primary technical authority through design and construction, reporting to the Project Director, with end-to-end accountability for engineering quality, integrity and integration across the owner's team, the EPCM and contractors.

The Senior Engineering & Integration Manager acts as the technical decision-maker and design authority for the Mingomba project,

Qualifications

• Senior-level engineering leadership experience on large mining or processing facilities.
• Proven ability to govern design across multiple disciplines and interfaces.
• Strong track record in managing technical risk and supplier interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Hold and exercise design authority across all disciplines.
• Establish design basis, standards, and criteria for the project.
• Own the technical risk register and drive risk reduction actions.
• Approve key engineering deliverables (P&IDs, datasheets, specs).
• Direct scope freeze decisions and stage-gate processes.
