Your new role

As our new Senior Engineer, you will join a team dedicated to working with clients to deliver a wide range of water-related projects, from preliminary studies through design and construction, and work alongside engineers, scientists, and resiliency planners to develop sustainable solutions to help communities address climate change and water infrastructure needs.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise to a variety of water resources projects including site planning and design, water distribution and storage, sanitary and storm sewer conveyance, combined sewer overflow control, stormwater management, green infrastructure, flood resiliency, floodplain restoration, and flood control.
  • Lead field investigations, alternatives analysis, technical reports, and designs to deliver high‑quality work products and contract documents, and mentor early‑career engineers.
  • Support business development and branding activities, including client presentations, conference participation, written proposals, and interview presentations.
Your new team

You will be part of the Water Infrastructure & Climate Adaptation team. We provide solutions related to hydraulic modelling, watershed management, site civil design, stormwater management, blue‑green infrastructure, climate and resiliency planning, dams and waterfront development, and structural and heavy‑civil engineering.

About You

We look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 8+ years of qualifying engineering experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required, NYS preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of engineering fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and in understanding hydraulic/hydrologic model results.
  • Strong mentoring, efficient time‑management, proactive communication and adaptability to varied projects.
