Verizon is seeking a Senior Engineer Varicent ICM to lead changes and maintenance of the Varicent ICM platform, aligning with the team manager. You will design and implement compensation solutions, perform defect triage, and ensure accuracy of calculations and analytics.

In a hybrid work setup, you’ll collaborate with global stakeholders, apply your expertise in Varicent ICM, ELT, SQL, Python, and JavaScript, and influence business outcomes while delivering scalable analytic capabilities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
• Experience in Finance, Accounting, or Finance Operations.
• Experience with Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) systems, specifically Varicent ICM.
• Experience with compensation plans and contract structures.
• Experience with all phases of end-to-end Analytics project, such as (but not limited to): Ingestion, Munging, Model Building, Validation, Operationalization, Monitoring.

• Execute migrations to maintain a stable environment.
• Support testing efforts for new compensation configuration.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Varicent ICM with a thorough understanding of agent and employee compensation.

This role will work collaboratively with team members to design and implement solutions for compensation plan changes, and perform defect triage, root cause analysis, and resolution.

Participate in stakeholder discussions to understand requirements, determine system supportability, align on design approach, and define implementation effort.

Engage key stakeholders to address issues and ensure timely resolution.

Present solutions that are consistent with architecture and application design.

Configure Varicent calculations and other components in accordance with the application framework and best practices.

Execute migrations to maintain a stable environment.

Support testing efforts for new compensation configuration.

Act as a subject matter expert for Varicent ICM with a thorough understanding of agent and employee compensation.

You’ll need to have:

Bachelor's degree or four or more years work experience.

Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

Knowledge of software development life cycle and supporting tools like Jira, ALM, qTest, etc.
