Job summary

Cardinal Health’s Commercial Technologies Software Engineering team is seeking a Senior Engineer - Tech Lead to guide complex initiatives and uphold high standards of design and delivery. You will translate business goals into robust technical designs, define tasks, and ensure quality across build, test and release cycles.

You will collaborate with Solution Owners, Product, and delivery teams, and mentor engineers to raise the team’s technical maturity while operating within regulated

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 8+ years of hands-on software development and/or application development experience.
  • Experience in SDLC processes including requirements analysis and system design.
  • Ability to lead complex technical initiatives, define deliverables and resolve production issues.
  • Experience partnering with Risk/Security and operating in regulated environments.

This function creates strategies for the portfolio and innovative solutions based on relationships with business leaders, develops back-end solutions and capabilities, and improves the front-end experience. Commercial Technologies Software Engineering develops design options, process improvements and back-end solutions for commercial technologies to maximize performance and suitability for business needs. This job family manages engineering projects and plans for commercial technologies and interfaces with product managers to develop objectives.
