Job summary

Shield AI is seeking a Sr. Structural Analyst to support analysis and testing of advanced UAVs. You will work closely with Mechanical Systems, Propulsion, Mechanisms, and other engineering disciplines to ensure the structural integrity of lightweight, high-performance aircraft.

This role offers exposure to finite element analysis, composite and metallic materials, and mechanical testing in a fast-paced aerospace environment for engineers with 5+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in structural analysis or aerospace engineering.
• Experience with UAVs or aircraft structures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and test advanced UAV airframes and components.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Systems, Propulsion, and Mechanisms teams to ensure structural integrity.
• Contribute to design, analysis, testing, and optimization of airframe structures to meet weight, performance, and safety requirements.
