Sr. Java Developer

8+ years of experience. Experience with both Java and Python to design, develop, and maintain applications.

Roles & Responsibilities

Learn quickly through self-guided learning.
Display significant experience with engineering methodologies, concepts, skills, and their application in specified engineering specialty.
Design, develop and test new software and web applications. Support applications under development and enhance current applications.
Assist in roll‑out and monitoring of software releases.
Provide technical leadership throughout design, development and testing processes and guidance on practices, procedures, and techniques.
Serve as a guide and mentor for junior‑level Software Development Engineers.
Evaluate and plan software designs, code reviews, test plans, test results, and technical manuals.
Participate in researching, writing, and editing documentation and technical requirements, including sequence diagrams, software designs, demos, acceptance criteria, test results, technical manuals, monitoring plans, support strategies, and retrospective recommendations.
Display in‑depth knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills, and their application in specified engineering specialty.
Display in‑depth knowledge of, and ability to apply, process design and redesign skills. Present and defend architectural, design, and technical choices to internal audiences.
Participate in training representatives and other staff on internally developed software applications.
Consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
