Job summary

The Haskell Company in Oklahoma City and Tulsa is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to contribute to our site/civil group. You will be responsible for the production of innovative, cost‑effective designs, drawings, and specifications, while maintaining professional registration and signing/sealing documents prepared under supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Degree.
• 10+ years of civil design experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (Active).
• Autodesk Civil 3D (current version).

Responsibilities

• Lead project strategy meetings within discipline, develop design concepts and recommend systems, produce pricing and proposal presentation documents, and outline specifications.
• Research, document, and ensure discipline design compliance with all applicable codes, ordinances, standards, and regulations.
• Identify the basis of design for hydrology, hydraulics, site utilities, and erosion sediment control design approach.
• Create clear, complete, and concise stormwater, water demand, and wastewater calculation reports.
• Advise and assist Construction Project Managers, Superintendents, and Subcontractors in the interpretation and clarification of construction documents and respond to requests for information.
• Direct technical efforts of engineers, designers, technicians, and/or interns assigned to the project.
• Administer an environment for staff to excel, while coaching them to advance their careers.

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10–50 pounds.
