Job summary

ProQuality Network in Juncos, Puerto Rico seeks a Senior Engineer to lead process optimization and capital projects within a regulated manufacturing environment, ensuring GMP/GLP compliance.

The role requires applying advanced engineering principles, validating equipment, and coordinating cross-functional teams across operations, manufacturing, and quality. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; onsite schedule is 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a 5-month contract and overtime possible based on needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 4+ years of engineering experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Master’s degree plus 2 years of engineering experience, or Doctorate in a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of engineering experience preferred.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device manufacturing preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Knowledge of regulated manufacturing practices including GMP/GLP.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex engineering assignments and develop improved techniques and solutions.
• Characterize process optimization strategies and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Apply engineering principles to manufacturing processes, equipment, and capital projects.
• Develop technical solutions using calculations, science, and creative problem-solving.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
• Coordinate consultants, vendors, and project stakeholders as needed.
• Develop schedules, budgets, and cost estimates for projects.
