Job summary

Shipt, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer for Order Management in a hybrid role across multiple U.S. locations. You will design and build large-scale microservice systems powering core operations using Golang, Postgres, Redis, and Kafka.

You will mentor engineers, drive best practices, and ensure production-ready, secure, and scalable solutions while collaborating with product teams and business partners to maximize impact.

You will engage in hands-on development for the most complex tasks, ensuring that all solutions are production-ready, scalable, resilient, and meet high-performance standards. You will bridge deep technical knowledge with business impact, acting as a "T-Shaped" engineer who collaborates across product teams and business partners to align architecture with strategic goals. You will serve as a primary contact point for your team, mentoring Engineers and Associate Engineers to improve code quality and technical depth. Every day, you will work within a micro-services architecture using Golang, Postgres, Redis, and Kafka.
