Job summary

Lattice Semiconductor in Duluth, GA is seeking an OpenBMC Engineer to advance platform bring-up, porting, and firmware integration for BMC functionality.

You will work with OpenBMC, BMC firmware architectures, and Yocto-based builds, contributing C/C++ and Python utilities to deliver robust management interfaces and reliable server hardware support.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in OpenBMC
• Good understanding of BMC architecture and firmware
• Good knowledge of hardware interfaces such as I2C, I3C, UART, GPIO, PSU, SPI
• Expertise or working knowledge of protocols such as MCTP/PLDM/NCSI/NVMe-MI
• Familiarity with Yocto-based build environments
• Strong programming skills in C/C++
• Knowledge of Python is an added advantage

• Work on porting, migration, integration, and debugging of BMC software
• Analyze upstream changes and port the necessary changeset for the platform

Job Description:

We are looking for an OpenBMC Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in OpenBMC/BMC firmware development to support platform bring-up, feature development, porting, debugging, and integration activities.

Key Requirements
