Job summary

Presidio is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead secure, scalable cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will design, automate, and deploy modern hybrid infrastructures using Terraform IaC, with a focus on security, cost optimization, and best practices.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with delivery teams and clients, and drive migration programs while enforcing CI/CD and policy automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience.
• 8–10+ years of enterprise infrastructure engineering experience, with 5+ years in cloud infrastructure design and automation.
• Strong expertise with Terraform for IaC (modules, workspaces, state management, and CI/CD integration).
• Hands‑on experience with cloud networking, identity, compute, storage, and security services in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proven experience migrating data centers or applications to cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows Server administration.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, KVM) and hybrid connectivity solutions (ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, VPN, SD‑WAN).
• Understanding of modern DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Strong documentation and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of secure, scalable cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Terraform modules and pipelines for provisioning, config, and policy enforcement.
• Automate deployments and workflows using Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Execute discovery and assessment activities using tools like Flexera, Device42, Cloudamize, and native cloud utilities.
• Drive migration execution for IaaS, PaaS, and container workloads with performance and security in mind.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and PMs to create Cloud Design Documents, runbooks, and plans.
• Implement cloud security best practices including IAM, encryption, logging, monitoring, and CIS/NIST compliance.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and optimize for performance, scale, and cost.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to Presidio’s reusable assets and automation frameworks.

The Role

Presidio is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who combines deep technical expertise with hands‑on implementation experience to support large‑scale enterprise cloud transformation initiatives. • Experience developing policy‑as‑code with Sentinel or OPA/Rego.
