Job summary

Terracon is seeking an experienced engineering professional to lead safety, quality, and technical direction on a range of projects. The role emphasizes risk management, design conceptualization, and oversight of complex investigations. You will supervise teammates and contribute to client-facing reports and proposals.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Engineering with 8–11 years of experience and a Masters preferred. A Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer status is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 8–11 years of engineering experience.
• Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer status required.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety efforts for the team and ensure team follows safety rules and guidelines.
• Provide continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects.
• Provide consistent quality standards on project and proposal delivery.
• Develop understanding of project-related risk and protect the Company.
• Senior level engineering professional providing technical direction for routine and complex projects.
• Conceptualize initial design and oversee engineering work for major phases.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate engineering work including complex features.
• Review projects requiring complex investigations and supervise reports and technical reviews.
• Lead technical training and inform decisions with state-of-the-art technology issues.
• Provide leadership in marketing, sales and business development.
• Supervise less experienced engineers or technical staff on projects.
• Serve as a Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer.
